Manly Surf n Slide is a summer dream location for kids – non-stop, fast and furious fun. And it’s a haven for parents – safe, easy with a soon to open gourmet café on site. An outdoor playground like no other, the kids slide while you get your caffeine fix and catch up with friends. You can watch the kids from the spectator deck or join the slide-fest yourself.As an added bonus this season, the water is now heated, so no more excuses

Fundraising Events

Manly Surf n Slide will open exclusively for groups running fundraising events for 50 people or more. Speak to us about fundraising for your local sporting, youth club or charity. You can make it even more fun by organising a slide-a-thon and getting the kids to raise money on a slide-by-slide basis – how many slides can they do in two hours? Manly Surf n Slide will pledge $2.00 per slider to your chosen charity. We also have BBQs on site so you can host your own sausage sizzle and raise even more. Contact us for information.

Schools

Finish the school year with a brilliant fix of summer fun, or book for term 4 in 2017 to help your kids celebrate the end of the year, or term 1 in 2018 to get better acquainted in a fun environment. You can even book us for your sports lesson – physical exercise and fun all at the same time!

How to get here

MANLY SURF n SLIDE is located at the old Manly Waterworks site, on the corner of West Esplanade and Commonwealth Parade, Manly. We are only a short, flat walk from the Manly Ferry and main bus stops. Walk past the Manly Art Gallery and Manly Surf n Slide is almost directly opposite Manly Sea Life Sanctuary

Buses leave regularly from Wynyard Station, Chatswood Interchange & the Hills District. Ferries leave regularly from Wharf 3 at Circular Quay and take 30 minutes.

Manly Fast Ferries leave from Wharf 6 everyday of the week and the trip only takes 18 minutes. Manly Fast Ferries depart every 30 minutes throughout the day with a 10 minute service during peak hours. Plan your trip and purchase your ticket here: http://www.manlyfastferry.com.au/timetables.

Car

Parking: Two hour street parking is available as well as free two hour parking at Whistler St Car Park, Central Ave Car Park and Wentworth St Car Park. Commercial car parks are also located at Manly Wharf and the Quest Apartments, Gilbert St, Manly

Some important information
for when you get here

Sliding Rules and Safety Information
  • Sliders must be at least 110 centimetres tall.
  • Manly Surf n Slide highly recommends guests follow sun safety guidelines: Slip on sun-protective clothing; slop on broad spectrum, water resistant SPF 30+ (or higher) sunscreen twenty minutes prior to arriving at the slides; and when you are out of the slides, slap on a hat, seek out some shade and slide on some sunglasses.
  • Whilst Manly Surf n Slide do provide supervision on the slides, children under 10 years of age are not allowed entry unless under the active supervision of a person 16 years or older.
  • Sliders are to stand behind the red line until it is their turn.
  • Sliders slide at 10 seconds interval.
  • Sliders must slide feet first.
  • 1 slider per mat.
  • NO STOPPING OR SLOWING IN THE TUBES.
  • At the end of the slide, exit the pool immediately.

Anyone endangering others by disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the premises immediately

  2. Patrons using the slide must be taller than 110 cms;
  3. The use of the Manly Surf n Slide facilities is a recreational activity within the meaning of the Civil Liability Act NSW and that Manly Surf n Slide is not liable for harm suffered by patrons in respect of any obvious or inherent risks undertaken by patrons at Manly Surf n Slide;
  4. Manly Surf n Slide accepts no responsibility for injury loss or damage suffered or incurred by anyone using the facilities of Manly Surf n Slide, particularly the use of the slide, inappropriate use of facilities or any failure to comply with directions by Manly Surf n Slide staff or failure to comply with safety signs;
  5. Manly Surf n Slide accepts no responsibility for loss of personal effects.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

We also do not offer refunds for your child’s hesitation/unwillingness to slide, so please be mindful and speak to our manager before buying a ticket.
